Not only did I wake up to to the usual sound of the builders next door this morning at 7.30 prompt but also to heavy rain falling on the roof.

I am thankful for the rain but certainly not for the builders who right now are drilling a hole in the main wall of next doors house to access their new extension.

Over the last few days and since last weekend we here in this part of Kent UK have had just a few spots of it up until now. I had put a weed and feed on the lawn and it was beginning to burn in places and needed the rain.

I am sure those who live in a dessert welcome the life giving rain and don't take their water for granted.

As for builders I guess the folks next door are thankful for them as they work well, quickly and no loud music.
The benefits are just hidden from me right now as I like the radio on and when the sun is out and their tops are off
