Has anyone visited the Greek Island of Lefkas? If so, would be grateful for any recommendations of where to go and what to do? Also we are thinking of hiring a boat for a day - any tips on nice trips? Oh, and maybe taking the ferry over to Santorini - is it worth a visit? This time next week .....

Hi, possibly too late now with this reply as you may already be there.I've not been to Lefkas but have been to Santorini.I stayed there for a fortnight which was a bit too long for me but it is worth a visit.I originally went on a day trip from Paros and the approach to Santorini gives you absolutely breath taking views.You will land at the main town of Santorini and that really is the best part of the Island and you should enjoy the day there.

I'm sorry I too that I didn't spot this earlier. OH has been to Lefkas before my time and really liked it - this led to both of us visiting Zante and Kefelonia and I loved them both. I would really love to go again but OH is of the 'been there, done that' school of holidays!!!
