Do you mean having your brows and lashes tinted with colour?

If you mean that, then yes I've had it done and it is fab. Also had my lashes permed (I kid ye not!) nearly two months ago and they are still long, black and curly without any mascara.

If it is the brow and lash tint, I also have it done. I go every 4/6 weeks and it is great...no mascara to worry about.

Snooz - do you mean the semi permanent eye liner, lip tint and so on? A bit like a tatoo?

I have a local hairdresser who has started doing this and I am intrigued. It must be good to wake up looking like you have some basic makeup on!

I'm interested to learn if anyone else has had it done.

Holly UK, Yes I do mean this tattoo sort of procedure, I have sparse eyebrows and am fed up with having to use pencil to fill them in

I have my eyebrows waxed and tinted about every 4-6 weeks and it's great. Also have lashes tinted before holidays. However, I did have one "mishap" when my usual girl was on holiday and ended up looking like Alistair Darling!!

Do you know where she had them done and if it was painful at all?

one of my friends has blue eyeliner tatooed just under her lower lashes - it looks really good and quite natural...I think black may have been too harsh for her colouring, but she does quite a bit of swimming, so saves her taking her make-up off and putting it back on again

I'd be very interested in how much it costs as well!

OMG - you just reminded me of why i'm not looking in the mirror lately!!

I tint my own eyebrows (very cheap to buy the kit at Boots in the UK and lasts forever).

Well, i put the stuff on my brows and totally forgot about it. I was watching something riveting on the TV. I went to the loo and looked in the mirror and nearly died (scuse the pun!!_ ) I looked like Elvis! (more alive than dead though) they're still quite dark, two weeks later but now more natural looking.

I love the eyebrown tinting, i'm quite blonde so it seems to give my face some definition. Very easy to do at home (as long as you remember to take the blooming stuff of!!)

I have had my eyebrows 'tatooed' with semi-permanent liner and am delighted with the result. I had it done by a company called Natural Enhancements at a beauty exhibition (I am a therapist). The one thing to watch for is that it is not done as a block of colour but done with individual lines so that they look like hairs. It is not a cheap proceedure but I am very pleased with mine and they are still fine after 2 years (the pigment does fade with time so I will have a top-up done probably next year). Hope that helps.

I had my eyebrows and eyeliner done 3 years ago. It has faded quite a lot and it was very painful - especially the eyeliner. It is great to always have defined brows and eyes but I'm not sure whether I can pluck up the courgage to have it done again. I went to Jane Haralambous just off Baker St, London who is very good.

I heard someone talking today in the hair salon about this.Apparently this lady had her eyebrows tatooed many years ago but as she has aged and her eyebrows have become sparser the tatooed area has faded and now looks pink.

I had my eyebrows 'tattooed' in nearly 2 years ago; because I am fair I was told that it would not last as long as someone who is darker, but it has all disappeared now. Again becuase I am fair it bled a lot, but I had an anaethetic applied half an hour before starting, so I felt nothing. At least, no physical pain, but it cost nearly £350, and applying special cream for 2 weeks while it healed was unpleasant. I had very fine lines done, so it took about 45 minutes to do. Everybody loved it, but I will not be going again.
I do not like the look of eyebrow pencil, I find it too harsh, so I am back to just brushing a grey/beige coloured eyeshadow through my brows each morning, and that does the trick all day for me.
Hope this helps.
