With new members joining every day, I thought it would be useful to share some tips for using the forums.
Remember that our forums are public and can be viewed by anybody on the Internet, not just forum users. Do not give out personal details such as your address, phone number, email address etc, in a post or on your profile.
If you are planning to meet up with other forum members - for a Supper Club, Walking Club or reader event - contact each other via private message for personal communication. Private messages can only be viewed by the recipient, and are not displayed publicly.
We want the woman&home forums to be a friendly environment, so please treat each other with respect. Remember that comments can be misconstrued when written down as the tone of voice is not conveyed. It's best to read your post back before you submit it!
We hope you enjoy being a part of this wonderfully supportive community.

*May I then suggest that the W&H team take off the email option found in the user options which invites members to put their email address openly on their ID forum page and there for all to see!

As a beginner I ask: why women on this forum do not tell their age? What's wrong with it?
I feel more comfortable if I know wether I am exchanging ideas or suggestions with a coetaneous or a teen ager.
Do you share my view?

Beba, we do not tell our exact ages because it is not the most important thing about us. Most of the women who post on here are aged over 30 and under 80 - we don't get many teenagers!

Beba,
Welcome to the forum.
I think age is immaterial anyway, women always find something to discuss regardless of how old they are.
Most of us have in some way or another discussed age, in fact there has been a recent post. Beba, use the Search facility and Im sure you will find it.
I think in my case, I have mentioned my age, but if someone wishes not to do so that is their perogative.
