Rosalie 26.6.08 Quote:
Is there any way that the system can "warn" us whenever our pm boxes are full - when the "quota" has been reached? And what is the quota? I was only alerted when someone posted on the main forum that they had been able to pm me. That is the 2nd time in a few weeks - & I don't receive that many PMs!
I wish to read my PMs and then keep most of them. I guess it is like one does with text, a letter or emails, as they contain information such as meet dates and personal private information that I need. I for one also like to keep track of what I have discussed, chatted about and to who and can not always recall 100% of what I have said and 100% of the time often forget the persons real name sorry ladies it is hard when one hasn't meet you face to face and no pictures to go by!
Anyway please W&H the powers that be sort this PM quota out it isn't good enough the way it is now and it is a right pain.
***Recently there have been many post and a moan on the forums about PM boxes filling up so it isn't just me

I agree very much with you DBVC. I love to keep my pms for exactly the reasons you have explained so well. I have to keep searching thru' to begrudgingly find one or two that I can 'let go'!! But then I am a hoarder and always have been. Hope W&H is seeing this and acting on it?
Whooooo? are those 'winking' blobs with cherries on the top?Why are they Sitting on Chimney pots!!?

Mayday - You are joking please,
Those 'chimney pots' are ice-cream cones,(don't you remember the short stubby type?)with Strawberry,Vanilla & Chocolate Ice-cream,topped with cream and a cherry on top. If you look carefully, you can even see the diagonal pattern on the wafer.

Hi Mayday, Yippee a fellow hoarder How nice to know this and I am happy meet you Nothing wrong with keeping things its just when you can not open the door to a room it is when it is a problem? I say this as I went to a friends house this weekend and she has it bad. I mean really bad at hoarding things and anything. One room is so stuffed you can only squeeze into the room and have 1 foot of space to stand in. The room is, under all the clutter and stuff, around 5ft by 10. Now this sad friend truly does have a mental problem over keeping things and when I joked about having a sort of spring clean and a clean sweep she was almost in tears and started to shake !! Oh err I did feel sorry for her and stopped a bit longer to calm her down and give her a hugs
So take note W&H or you will have Mayday and me dbverycherry in tears and on the verge of a break down if you don't increase our PM quota and limits!!!

Annemarie my mum has just left after popping over for lunch and guess what? After lunch we had a look at my dad's(dad sadly died 12 years ago) family photos, late 1960s to early 1970s, that he took and had made into slides. My OH has kindly scanned and since copied them onto my computer here are a few and taken in the days of those ice cream cones and yes with a cherry on the top yummy My dear dad did restrict himself and us in that he was very reserved at showing his pride of us and pleasure in us his children me, my older sister and younger brother but as you can see from these photos every picture says a thousand words and in this case what his camera lens captured speaks and tells me he loved us all dearly and was proud of us but under the surface. I still miss him tones but fond memories thanks to him and his photos.
NO limit on Quota of PM please W&H!! Mayday and I are hoarders plus in my case proud and possibly, with Annemaire as well, sentimental to

Hi Plasmo ,I am the middle one of the first photo taken down at Broadstairs and usually with a big on my face. I had a very happy childhood and clearly remember loads from it. Like my clothes and including the touch of them and the smell of many things like the B&B's breakfast of kippers or baked beans on burnt toast from way back them Candy floss on a stick and F&C in newspaper , not allowed now for safety/hygiene reasons I guess

Mayday and Blossom yes 1970s, I was born in 1965. My costume was my sister's and a hand me down. Ever since I have always liked navy and white and the nautical theme
