To the powers that be at W&H - adverts
      #124316 - 02/06/2008 11:39

Please powers that be take off the very annoying blue survey and Bobbie Brown adverts, this is not what I come on the website for.

We all know that you have to generate revenue somehow but please can you find a different way to do it! The side top and side banners are enough of annoyance without STUPID POPUPS!

Ditto!

That Bobbi Brown advert is too intrusive and popping up every few minutes.

It's having an adverse effect - I will not be buying any of their products

I don't know what advert it is you are refering to here Chris Mck

I am as one keeps on getting in the way. It is this black house shape thing with coloured squares that appears and gets in the way frankly I couldn't give a monkeys what ever company or product it is! Just GO AWAY!

I agree wholeheartedly with all the messages here. I stopped using Delia Smiths website for the same reason. I know product placement helps to pay for the website but it is so annoying. Its almost as bad as all those inserts in magazines. I've taken to leaving them at the newsagents for them to dispose of.

Agree with above - this advert as well as the blue/orange survey box one is totally annoying

These adverts are so, so annoying. I will never ever buy any products advertised this way. Please get rid of them W&H. Like others, I don't come on the Forum to have adverts popping up across my screen.

I use Mozilla Firefox as my browser, with their Adblock, and I can't see a single advert/pop up - it's brilliant.

I know what you mean about those ones that float across the screen all the time - they are so irritating, and make me irrationally hate the product/service being advertised!

Just come across the Bobby Brown icon - bl**y H***! Do Women & Home know nothing about their readers and members of the forum? As far as I can see it just convinces one never to buy anything from Bobby Brown. It is so annoying.

It's about time W&H responded to complaints from members of the forum about these irritating adverts. I have posted about this before and there was no response. It's just plain rude. Justify them to us or take them away!

Chris Yet again they are back! I am talking about those advert ones that get in the way as one clicks on a post.
They drop down or pop up all over the page
