I have just finished reading ..Things I want My Daughters to Know..by Elizabeth Noble. It is the story of a mother who is terminally ill. She has lived a happy and full life and touched many with her love of life and laughter. She has four daughters and loves them unconditionally and with a strong and tender understanding. It is not a sad book but is funny and inspirational. Each daughter is different and the book is mainly about their lives and their relationships. Very easy to read and not at all traumatic. Enjoy!

I've read this book too. I agree with Splash that it is a good read and not traumatic. Her love for each of her daughters shines through
