BOWING OUT OF EYES DOWN
      #130880 - 13/06/2008 10:59

After much thought I've decided that I must bow out of the Eyes Down Club. I belong to another book club and have recently taken on some more activites, so all in all I'm finding it difficult to keep up with more reading. I've only really stayed with the Forum recently for the Eyes Down Club and will miss the lovely ladies who have contributed to this. Thanks for some excellent choices and happy reading.

Does that mean we are losing you Sealover? I am very sorry if so.....have enjoyed your posts in the past. I have been absent a bit recently....hols and such but now coming to life again.! Please don't disappear completely!
I can sympathise with you on the book club. I am not a member of 'eyes down' but am a member of a local book group and can find it difficult keeping up with the reading. Not fun if it is pressure really!

Thanks for your past posts anyway.......hope not to lose you.

Mayday

Sealover, I was really sad to read your post - I hope this isn't goodbye!

As well as organising the Eyes Down Book Club and encouraging me to join, you have entertained me with comments on a variety of books and introduced me (and many other readers - 688 views!) to a new author, Celestine Hitiura Vaite.

Thank you. Happy reading for the future!

Oh Sealover what a shame. I've found your suggestions, organisation and thoughts really helpful. I had noticed a few weeks ago that I'd not seen any recent post from you on the other forums (I must admit though I tend to read and occasionally post)-but I had in the past admired your level headed response and posts in these forums. It was a relief at that time to see you still contributing to the eyes down.
Thankyou so much for all the effort you've put into this-you will be missed!!

Sealover,I was so sorry to read that you are stepping down from the Eyes Down Club as you were so instrumental in my involvement too.As I have already said to you,I have missed you greatly recently but do understand about other committments.Does this mean you are leaving the forum completely?I do hope not,but if it does then another big thank you for all you have done and all you have contributed.

Sealover, I hope this doesn't mean you're leaving the forum but either way I wish you well. I've enjoyed your posts and am grateful to you for sorting out the supper club list.x

Sealover, a big thank you for all the Eyes Down organising you have done.

I hope you are going to stay around on the forum. No one else could possibly supply such excellent seagull pasties.

Take care x
