UNTIL IT'S OVER Nicci French
Astrid is a young cycle courier in London. Within a few weeks she finds herself at the scene of crime three times – three women are murdered. Is this coincidence or something more sinister? The reader is compelled to see the situation from Astrid’s viewpoint and to share her bewilderment and nightmare. Is one of her housemates the murderer? Whom can she trust? Will she be the next victim? The chill factor intensifies when we enter the mind of the killer. We are caught in an atmosphere heavy with menace, evil and foreboding. As we edge towards the inevitable climax, the tension is almost unbearable. This psychological thriller is a page turner – gripping, shocking and extremely clever.

I haven't read this one, but have read a couple of other Nicci French novels and really enjoyed them. I'm looking forward to meeting them at the W&H 'Meet the Authors' day in May. Anyone else going?

Have just read until its over - i think i may need to read it again though as i think i may have missed some subtle hints throughout. I have preferred others of theirs to be honest but having said that this is a good read. I shall stop at that but i would be interested to hear views afterwards and i will then happily add more. (dont want to spoil the fun)

Hi Fae - Computer isn't better yet - it's monitor will have to be put to sleep, apparently, but is still plodding on for a couple of days!
The Meet the Authors day is in the London offices of Penguin on Friday 16th May. It would be great if you could be there - it looks like a good day!

bizgen, I know exactly what you mean. I used to read Patricia Cornwell's books until I had a nightmare about Dr Kay Scarpetta and a dead body!
