Please help if you can. I will be doing the Race for Life in Telford on 17th May. We are a group of nurses who trained in Oct 84. Last year one of our group became the victim of bowel cancer, she fought long and hard and now we want to race for her and all other sufferers. please visit: www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/paulaphillips1. I would really appreciate your help as I am stuggling to get this off the ground
Many Thanks Paula

Hi Paula, I'm doing the race for life myself in Southsea on June 1 and struggling to get sponsors as well. Most of the people I know are doing the race themselves or have already sponsored someone else. Both my Mum and Dad died of cancer and it's such a fantastic thing to be able to do knowing that in my own small way I'm contributing to a brilliant charity. Good luck with it and I'm sure you will get the sponsorship that you need.

Hi Paula, thanks for that. I haven't got a site and don't know how to get one and the few sponsors I have got so far will give me the money and I will pay it in online. I have looked at your link and couldn't get it to open.

Mmmmm... this could explain my lack of techno knowledge. I can access this site by typing this: www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/paulaphillips1
but I don't know how to make it accessible from this post!
Jan, I was sent this infomation about the site in my race for life registration pack and then set up my own sponsor page. Hope this helps
Regards Paula

if you e mail people from your page of race for life it sends them the link which works I know as I am racing this year and that is how I raised all my sponsor money so much easier than chasing people afterwards Good luck to all

I clicked on the link and it worked ok- will be sponsoring you tomorrow.
Why don't you put a post on the Your Lives forum too - lots of people don't look at these other Forums - that what I've been unashamedly doing for the Forum Girls doing the Ribbon Walk.
Well done for this - hope you reach your target.

Good luck and well done to everyone taking part in the Race for Life. I am unable to do any of these myself but am sponsoring two other members of my family. I have nothing but admiration for anyone who takes part in these events.
