When? We went for and an early Sunday evening dinner.
What we ate? To start, we had crab dip and panko pork belly, both tasty but the crab was the winner with its fresh crab meat cooked with chilli and coriander and served with flatbread and a crispy polenta topping. Then it was onto the house special, a steak! We went with the pichanha and rump cuts – meltingly tender meat perfectly cooked. It had to be the brownie for dessert.
Food envy? The table next to us ordered the Chop Bloc cheese burger, stacked high in a brioche bun, it looked pretty great.
What’s it like inside? It has a Manhattan loft feel, with low lighting, dark wood furniture and tan leather banquettes. The stylish cocktail bar on the top floor is great for an aperitif. It had a relaxed atmosphere for our early Sunday dinner but I can imagine it buzzing on a Friday and Saturday night.
