Lamb and Rosemary Burgers
Our melt-in-the-mouth burgers are dead simple and so much better than the ones you buy in shops.
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 15 to 20 minutes
Serves 6
675g (1lb 8oz) minced lamb
1 shallot, very finely chopped
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
juice 1 lime
1 tbsp chopped rosemary leaves
salt and freshly ground
black pepper
1 to 2 tbsp olive oil
1 Mix together the minced lamb, shallot, garlic, lime juice, rosemary and seasoning.
2 Mould by hand into 6 burger shapes, brush with a little oil to stop them sticking and cook over a hot barbecue for 15 to 20 minutes, turning until cooked through. You will have to move the burgers to the edge of the barbie to make sure they cook right through to the middle and don't burn on the outside.
3 Serve in toasted buns with a little salad and red pepper salsa.
Per serving: 220cals, 13g fat, 5g saturated fat, 1g carbohydrate
