Fundraising Tea Party
Make Time for Tea; Eve Appeal
Hosting a tea party is a fantastic way to raise money and support The Eve Appeal. You don't need to hold a massive event – even tea for two or baking a few cakes for friends at work will make a difference to those suffering from gynaecological cancer. Whether you raise £5 or £500, every little helps.
What kind of tea party to hold
Get involved and start planning your event. Large or small, it doesn’t matter, as every little bit raised will help The Eve Appeal fund its key research and achieve its goals. So make a date in your diary today!
- Throw a party
Whether it’s a full-blown garden party or a quick work break cuppa, hosting a tea party is a fun way to raise money for an excellent cause. Bake some fun cupcakes or try that delicious-looking cake recipe you’ve been meaning to make for ages.
- Raise even more
Add extra excitement to your tea party by holding a raffle. Ask friends and family to donate some prizes and request a donation to take part. You could also put out collection boxes on the day and sell The Eve Appeal’s pin badges.
- Stand out
To highlight Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, The Eve Appeal is encouraging you to add a touch of red to your party. Hang up balloons, use coloured icing on your cakes, or simply serve strawberry jam – the options are endless, so get creative!
- Help raise £160,000
Over £100,000 was raised by last year’s appeal, but for 2009, The Eve Appeal is setting its sights even higher. Support the campaign and help the Gynaecological Cancer Research Centre continue its fantastic research into halving the number of deaths from ovarian cancers.
