2009 Ribbon Walks
Choose from 10 and 20 mile options at four beautiful Ribbon Walk locations:
1 The Blenheim Palace & Cotswolds Ribbon Walk, Saturday 30th May
One of our Ribbon Walk options since the events began. It starts and finishes in the estate of England’s largest stately home, Blenheim Palace, and also takes in Cornbury Park and follows the Oxfordshire Way along an old Roman road.

2 Scone Palace & Perthshire Ribbon Walk, Saturday 13th June
For the first time in 2009 the Ribbon Walk is moving to Scotland – and what a fabulous location. Scone Palace makes a stunning start and finish point for a walk that takes in the beautiful gently undulating, emerald green Perthshire countryside.

3 Harewood House & West Yorkshire, Saturday 20th June
Another new walk for 2009, this one starts and finishes at the home of the Queen’s cousin, the Earl of Harewood. It’s a stunning stately home with beautiful formal gardens, and the routes then take in woodlands and open expanses of farms and fields.

4 The Petworth House & South Downs Ribbon Walk, Saturday 27th June
This route was introduced in 2008, and everyone loved it! It meanders through picturesque villages, riverside meadows and along forest trails of the low hills of the northern South Downs. The event starts and finishes in the beautifully landscaped grounds of Petworth House.
