Update on the 2009 woman and home short story competition

A huge thank you to everyone who entered this year’s short story competition. We had an incredible number of entries - over 800! Our two primary readers, whose task it is to whittle down the entries to a shortlist, were overwhelmed by their quality.

It seems this year’s theme of ‘uncertainty’ really got your creative juices flowing!

Entry for the competition has now closed.

Our expert judging panel, which includes w&h’s Editorial Director Sue James and the best-selling authors Marina Lewycka and Marian Keyes, now face the difficult task of choosing the winner.

Watch out for the results when they’re announced in the January issue of woman&home magazine and on womanandhome.com in early December.
