Why it works
“Kim's face has strong bone structure,” says Frédéric, “so I gave her a modern, layered bob with crisp angles that highlight her eyes, cheekbones and forehead.”
Long hair often falls limp, framing the face vertically, but “this cut makes her hair more fluffy, free and full.”
What it takes
Start with a volumising mousse at the roots and all around the crown for lots of body. For extra movement and touchable texture, spritz a texturising spray all over and run your fingers through while blow-drying.
Choose carefully – you don’t want the product to make hair too stiff. For extra body that lasts, follow with heated rollers.
