This lovely hotel is set in 200 acres of stunning parkland and it has its own cookery school housed in the Georgian stables.
Run by award-winning chef Robert Taylor, the cookery school offers a host of day courses, from meat and butchery classes, to Garden Food, Food of Love, and also Dinner Party classes which run over three separate modules.
Celebrity chef, Rosemary Shrager is their guest chef for 2009. Rosemary Shrager will be running two-day residential classes, centred around Modern British food, Mediterranean food and Fish and Seafood themes.
The hotel also boasts a spa, and a huge walled garden, from which they source many of the school’s ingredients. Why not make a short break of it?
