The Tannery Cook School, Ireland

Located in the seaside town of Dungarven, County Waterford, The Tannery boasts a cooking school, restaurant and luxury accommodation in their Townhouse. The Tannery is owned by one of Ireland’s foremost chefs Paul Flynn and his wife Máire.

Cookery courses run throughout the year and all reflect Paul’s ethos of locally-sourced, seasonal produce.

Courses range from evening classes to a five-day residential class. They are visited regularly by guest chefs, who this year include Richard Corrigan and Tamasin Day-Lewis.

The school is also lucky to have its own kitchen garden, so students have the privilege of cooking with the freshest possible ingredients.

Price: Classes start from €50 for an evening.

Special offer: readers booking two classes and quoting woman&home will receive two for one accommodation in the Townhouse.
