Romantic dinner for two menu

  • Rebecca Smith

Try our specially created delicious menu - just for you and him

Treat yourselves this weekend to dinner ‘à deux', and take the time in the kitchen to create a truly special meal. Dress in something beautiful, eat by candlelight, and allow yourselves to fully appreciate each others' company, the food and the evening ahead of you.

Seared scallops on a minted pea purée with crispy pancetta recipe
This chic recipe sets the tone perfectly for your meal. Shellfish is also said to be a potent aphrodisiac! Serve the starter with a glass of crisp, fruity Sancerre.

Duck breasts with grape and red wine sauce
This luxurious main will benefit immeasurably from the sweet and juicy grapes available at the moment. Enjoy this with a spicy, full-bodied Chilean Merlot.

Marbled iced mango terrine recipe
This iced terrine is a divinely light and tangy way to end your meal, and the leftovers keep in the freezer, meaning you're never without a pud! Serve with a chilled dessert wine - a glass of Brown Brothers Orange Muscat and Flora (£6.53, from most supermarkets) is ideal.
