Weekend menu
Entertaining should always be a pleasure, but how often do we find ourselves stuck in the kitchen with four pans on the go while our guests sit next door and make merry? Try our super-simple menu this weekend - with a one no-cook starter, one-pot main and assembly dessert, you'll have plenty of time to play the hostess with the mostest!
Smoked trout with horseradish, beetroot and cress recipe
If you've never tried smoked trout, you're in for a lovely surprise. Serve this elegant starter with a cool, crisp Sauvignon Blanc
Braised guinea fowl with manzanilla grapes and chorizo
For extra ease, have your butcher joint the guinea fowl for you. The manzanilla adds a lovely nuttiness to this very delicious dish - serve with a buttery Australian chardonnay that will stand up to the robust flavours.
With strawberries, meringue and champagne you really can't fail! Have all the components prepped before hand for last minute assembly. Serve with a lovely sweet Muscat de Beaumes de Venise. Scrumptious!
