The Shakti Mat

  • Lynn Cardy

Relax on your own ‘bed of nails’!

£63

I first came across this at one of those natural health exhibitions and crumbs you should have seen the crowds - everyone loved it!

Created by a massage therapist, the Shakti Mat is covered in plastic spikes that when lain upon act as acupressure points to stimulate the skin, increase blood flow and ease insomnia, tension and lethargy.

It feels odd at first but you soon get used to the sensation and I'm hoping that it's going to do great things for my tense back and stress. I'll get back to you to let you know how I got on.
