EVENT: Christmas Light Switch On
Bournemouth: See the lights turned on in Bournemouth Square at 5pm on 28 November. Entertainment from Heart FM and the Funky Little Choir.
Hampstead: Jonathan Ross is the celebrity switching on the lights at Hampstead this year. Head to the High Street on 28 November at 4pm to ensure you get a good spot. Lights on at 4.15pm.
Salisbury: Expect live music at the Christmas light switch-on in the town's Market Place on 25 November. Lights on at 6pm.
Highgate: Actor Andy Serkis - best known as Gollum in Lord of the Rings - will be lighting up the street of Highgate at 4.30pm on 26 November.
Oxfordshire: Lights will be turned on throughout the country this weekend. Head to Oxford on 26 November, Faringdon on 27, and there'll be a special firework display at Abingdon on 30.
